Jeffery Glen Morgan

Nahunta – Jeffery “Jeff” Glen Morgan, 56, of Nahunta passed away Saturday morning (October 12, 2024) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Warner Robins, GA his parents were Lannis Glenden Morgan and Mary Joan White Morgan.

Jeff was a welder who enjoyed welding, making things and building hot rods. He loved his family and especially his grandkids, making jokes, pulling pranks on people and listening to Rock N Roll music.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Morgan of Nahunta; 2 sons, Jeffery Morgan of Waynesville and Chris Morgan of Brunswick; 2 grandchildren, Destiny Morgan and Leah Morgan; a brother and sister-in-law, Jesse Morgan (Ponnie) of Atkinson; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday morning (October 16, 2024) from 10am -11am at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning (October 16, 2024) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bishop Raymond Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Williams, Richard Hite, Mark Myers, William Myers, David Hand, and Buddy Sizemore. Honorary pallbearers will be Kimberly Bragg, Drayton Gailey, Robert Hite, Joe Anderson, JP Anderson, John Herrin, Trent Williams, Billy Myers, Randy Hendricks and Scott Perry.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
