Jeffery S. Moody

Nahunta- Jeffrey S. Moody, 47, of Nahunta died Saturday evening (April 9, 2011) at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after an extended illness. Born in Albany, GA his parents were David Barney Moody and Elsie Faye Harris Strickland. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Inez Willis Moody and a brother, Stoney Moody. Survivors include 3 step-children, Dewayne Boatright of Nahunta, Chris Boatright and Casey Murray both of Waycross; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Lana & Roger Haggerty of Albany and Tricia Simmons of Blackshear; a sister-in-law, Joyce Moody of Albany; and also several nieces, nephews & other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday (April 12, 2011) from 11-12PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Tuesday (April 12, 2011) at 12PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Hortense Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Boatright, Randy Brown, Charles Harris, David Jacobs, Dink Duke and Wayne Brown. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
