Jennifer Marie Whisenant Ogden

Hoboken – Jennifer Marie Whisenant Ogden, 43, of Hoboken passed away Thursday morning (June 3, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after an extended illness.

Born in Corpus Christi, TX her parents are Jack R. Whisenant and Pamela J. Moody Whisenant of Waycross. She is preceded in death by her birth mother, Emmie Howell.

Jennifer was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and loved talking on her phone, crafting, fishing and going to thrift shops.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Levi Whisenant of Washington; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Diamond Victoria Odgen Taylor ( Latavas J.) of Hinesville, GA and Mary Abigail Ogden of Hoboken; her parents, Jack & Pam Whisenant of Waycross; father of her children, Joseph E. Ogden, Jr. of Hoboken; a brother and sister-in-law, DeWayne & Becka Whisenant of Hoboken; 2 half brothers, Marcus Travis, Jr. and Casey Travis; 2 half sisters, Chazlyn Brown and Denise Travis-Carlson; special friend, Renae Smith of Waynesville; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday evening (June 7, 2021) at 5pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Gunter and Rev. Jerry Chancey officiating.
