Jerry Francis Crews

Nahunta – Jerry Francis Crews, 71, of Nahunta passed away early Tuesday morning (September 22, 2020) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Folkston, GA his parents were Solomon Crews and Mary Ann Crews. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Drury; and a sister, Freida Dean.

Jerry was a logger for Henry Vanzant Logging and loved spending time with his grandkids and fox hunting.

Survivors include his 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Terri Carter (Austin Green) of Brunswick, Annalisa Payne of Stafford, Virginia, Carmen Marble (Ron) of Portland, Oregon, Stacy Brewer (Jeremy) of Folkston, and Hope Rodgers (James) of Nahunta; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Ouida Johnson (Dickie) of Folkston, Mary Jane Groover of Waycross and Ann Smith (Skeeter) of Nahunta; 3 brothers and a sister-in-law, Rickie Crews, Joe Crews (Viola), and Toby Smith all of Folkston; 3 aunts, Lydia Johns Burch of Hickox, Martha Lee of Folkston, and Edna Rowell of Roanoke, Alabama; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

There will be no services at this time.
