Jesse Howell Howard

Nahunta- Jesse Howell Howard, 69 of Nahunta, passed away Saturday afternoon (December 17, 2016) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, Ga., his parents were Jesse Melvin Howard and Mildred Cilla Middleton. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Audrey Ann Carter and Joyce Bennett.

Mr. Howard had served in the U.S. Army and was an avid fisherman, loved his dog, and all animals, he also loved Nascar, John Wayne movies and hunting.

Survivors include his son, Bobby Connell, of Hortense, two daughters and sons-in law, Robin Little (Ronnie), of Jesup, Myra Watson (John), of Hortense, six grandchildren, Chelsey Black (Mark), Chasidy Davis (Kenneth), Miranda Little, Holden Little, all of Jesup, Kayla Thomas (Josh), of Hickox, Lil John Watson (Sarah), of Havelock, NC, three great-grandchildren, Kylie Tribout, Bentley Black, and Savannah Black. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon (December 20, 2016) from 2PM-3PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday evening (December 20, 2016) at 3 PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Brother David Herrin officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
