Jimmy Franklin White

Brunswick – Jimmy Franklin White, 66, of Brunswick passed away Thursday afternoon (March 10, 2022) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, GA his parents were James Franklin White and Elizabeth Cindy Highsmith Glydewell.
Jimmy was a retired heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers in Savannah and served in the United States Army. He loved playing with his grandchildren, spending time with his family and adored his daughter. Jimmy also enjoyed fishing, telling tall tales and making people laugh.
Survivors include his 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Crews (Brooks) of Hoboken and Stacey Tapeley of Douglas; 4 grandchildren, Halen Peeples (Briana) of Little Rock, AR, Jaycee Peeples of Folkston, Jalen Lloyd of Blackshear and Allie O’Berry of Folkston; a great granddaughter, Gracelyn Peeples of Little Rock, AR; his significant other, Peggy Poole of Brunswick; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, John White and Charles White all of Hickox; 2 sisters, Debra Chesser of Hoboken and Judy Herrin of Hickox; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
