Joe Storm Porter

Waynesville- Joe Storm Porter, 25, of Waynesville died suddenly Friday (January 14, 2011) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Born in Brunswick, GA his parents are Terry and Tina Selph Porter. Joe was a mechanic and became the youngest supervisor for Costello. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Courtney Traylor Porter of Waynesville; 2 children, Damon Wayne Porter and Chloe Belle Porter both from Waynesville; his parents, Terri & Tina Porter of Waynesville; a brother, Lucas Porter of Waynesville; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (January 18, 2011) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning (January 19, 2010) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Horsestamp Cemetery, Waverly. Pallbearers will be T.J. Walker, Josh Walker, Troy Crosby, Lucas Porter, Victor Ortega and Dustin Crosby. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
