John Woodrow Drury, Jr.

Winokur – John Woodrow Drury, Jr., 50, of Winokur passed away Friday evening (November 11, 2016) at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Folkston, GA his parents were John Woodrow and Irene Moody Drury, Sr. He is also preceded in death by 5 siblings, Peggy Sue Drury, Mary Morgan, Larry Crews, Jerry Crews, and Bo Drury.

John was a maintenance supervisor for Varn Wood Products, a member of Winokur Baptist Church and a Winokur Volenteer Firefighter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, his dog “Dixie”, and hunting.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Lil John & Lacy Drury, III of Winokur; his daughter, Elizabeth Drury of Winokur; 4 grandchildren, J.D. Drury, Cayden Groover, Kalli Drury, and Kinsley Drury all of Winokur; 8 siblings and their spouses, Tony & Theresa Drury of Hoboken, Kara Lynn & C.L. Lewis of Winokur, Bobby & Trisha Crews of Riverside, Lester & Ann Crews of Hoboken, Betty Stubbs of Folkston, Pedro & Diane Drury of Folkston, Debroah Herndon of Folkston, and Barbara & Tom Kramer of Kinglsand; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening (November 13, 2016) starting at 6PM at the residence of John W. Drury, Jr., 12951 Winokur Rock Rd Folkston, GA 31537.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning (November 14, 2016) with at 11am at Drury Cemetery, 12951 Winokur Rock Rd Folkston, GA 31537 with Rev. Wayne Manning, Rev. E.C. Crews, and Rev. Cliff Adams officiating.

Pallbearer will be Raymond Wildes, Jeffrey Wildes, William Crews, Lance Lewis, Evan Drury, Brock Drury, C.L. Lewis, Scott Owens, and Randy Batten.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
