Waynesville- Johnny Bryant Turner, 58, of Waynesville died Wednesday afternoon (August 15, 2012) at his residence after an extended illness. Born in Marks, MS his parents are Mary Green Turner and the late Harry Dale Turner. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Laster. Johnny was a aircraft manager for Gulf Stream and served in the United States Army. Also he was a member of King Memorial Baptist Church and loved to play golf. Survivors include his wife, RaeLa Turner of Waynesville; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny & Michelle Turner, Jr. of San Diego and J. Byron Turner of Waynesville; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Angela & Tom LaRocco of Orlando, FL and Sydney Turner of Jacksonville, FL; 2 grandchildren, Olivia and Isabel Turner; his mother, Mary Green Turner of Duck Hill, MS; a brother and sister-in-law, William & Linda Turner of Marrero, LA; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine & Pete Chouccoli and his twin sister, Bonnie Parker both of Duck Hill, MS and Dale & Jimmy Stevens of Arcola, MS; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (August 18, 2012) from 3-4PM at King Memorial Baptist Church, Waynesville. A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon ( August 18, 2012) at 4PM at King Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Highsmith Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Poston, Kevin Driscoll, Ron Goyden, Charlie Gouker, Eric Strickland andRon Aldrich. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
