Johnny Hester

Hoboken-Johnny Larry Hester, 72, of Hoboken, passed away Sunday (August 29, 2021) at Hospice House of Waycross.
Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Floyd Hester and Gladys Mae Peacock Hester.
Johnny owned and operated his own pool repair business for many years and was a member of the C.B. Community. He served in the United States Army and loved fishing, animals, and the outdoors.
Survivors include 3 sons, Johnny Hester, Jr., Robert Hester, and Johnathan Hester; 2 brothers, Billy Hester and Jimmy Hester; A caretaker whom he considered a daughter and her spouse, Teresa Robertson (Darren) of Hoboken, GA.; and their children, Homer Thornton, Sarah Thornton, and Candace Jowers, and many grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
