Joseph 'Jody' Carroll Lake

Nahunta-Joseph “Jody” Carroll Lake, 48 of Nahunta, passed away Friday night (July 13, 2018) at his residence.

Born in Jesup, GA his parents are Joe and Diane Lake, of Nahunta and June Jones, of Caney Bay.

Jody enjoyed fishing and socializing with everyone.

Along with his parents he is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph Victor “Joey” Lake (Sierra), of Hortense; Austin Lake of Nahunta; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, David Lake (Myra Jane), of Nahunta; Bradley Lake of Nahunta. Also several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday (July 15, 2018) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday (July 16, 2018) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Johns officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Cleland, Coy Brooker, Edward Hand, Andy Wilson, and Loren Johns.

The family will be receiving friends at June Jones residence 3268 Cane Bay Nahunta, GA 31553

Pallbearers are asked to be at the Funeral Home Monday morning at 10:30AM
