Joseph Nathaniel Flowers

Hortense – Joseph Nathaniel Flowers, 37, of Hortense passed away (January 10, 2017) at Wayne Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Jesup, GA his parents are Curtis Eugene Flowers of Statesboro and Judy Mae Knight Holton of Hortense. He is preceded in death by a brother, James D. Holton and a grandmother, Birtie Mae Knight.

Joseph was a service technician at Nalley Honda of Brunswick and loved spending time with his family and working on cars.

Survivors include his wife, Christy Flowers of Hortense; a son, Gavin Flowers of Hortense; a daughter, Valerie Flowers of Hortense; father and mother, Curtis and Donna Flowers of Statesboro; mother and father, Judy & James Holton of Hortense; 4 sisters and a brother-in-law, Tracy Holton Hendrix (Ashley) of Waynesville, Tiffany Holton of Hortense, Krystal Flowers and Courtney Flowers both of Statesboro; his grandfather, Elbert Knight of Hortense; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg & Christine Lloyd of Hilliard; brother-in-law and his spouse, Adam & Lacey Lloyd of Hilliard; 5 nieces and nephews, Scott Holton, Haley Hendrix, William Hendrix, Brody Lloyd, and Brylee Jean Lloyd; and also several other relatives and friends.

The family will be having a private service.
