Brunswick- Joseph Wayne Daniels, 55 of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday morning (April 23, 2014) at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Waynesville, GA., his parents were Wilbert Matthew Daniels and Betty Jean Spradley Daniels. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sue McCarthy; and a brother-in-law, Clint Turner. Joseph enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He was employed with Cemex as a Block Machine Operator. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Will Daniels, of Marietta, GA, Nick Daniels (Tabitha), of Brunswick, GA; 2 grandchildren, Mollie Daniels and Hunter Daniels, both of Brunswick; 5 brothers and their spouses, James Daniels (Wanda), Donald Daniels, Ronald Daniels, Richard Daniels (Rita), all of Waynesville, and Mack Daniels, of Ludiwici; 4 sisters and their spouses, Janie Turner, Faye Straight (Gail), all of Brunswick, Brenda Gail Crosby (Melvin), Dolly Green (Jeffery), all of Waynesville; and a brother-in-law, Joe McCarthy. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (April 24, 2014) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Friday morning (April 25, 2014) at 11 AM from Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Edenfield officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Daniels, Jonathan Daniels, Josh Daniels, Tony Turner, Monroe Turner, and Jeffery Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Mosley, Paul Hall, Buddy Hunter, Melvin Crosby, and Ronnie Hall. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
