Joshua Freeman Kelly

Waynesville – Joshua Freeman Kelly, 25, of Waynesville passed away Wednesday evening (January 3, 2018) at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parent are Kenneth Kelly and Judith Thompson Kelly of Atkinson.

Joshua was a tree surgeon for Forest View Tree Service and a member of Waynesville Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his three children, playing soccer, swimming, and just being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife Jessica Lynn Kelly of Waynesville; 2 sons, Nathaniel Freeman Kelly and Cash Alexander Kelly of Waynesville; a daughter, Brooklyn Grace Kelly of Waynesville; his parents, Kenneth & Judith Kelly of Atkinson; 3 brothers, Adrian Miles Thompson of Atkins, Kenneth Kelly, III of Oklahoma, and Andrew Jordan Kelly of Savannah; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday evening (January 8, 2018) starting at 6pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (January 9, 2018) at 11AM at Waynesville Baptist Church with Rev. Emory Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Homeward Cemetery in Waverly.

Pallbearer will be Adrian Miles Thompson, Kenneth Kelly, III, Andrew Jordan Kelly, John Dryden, Ryan Bunkley, and Brandon Jones.

Pallbearers are asked to be at the church Tuesday by 10:30am.
