Kathy Winn Aldridge

Nahunta-Mrs. Kathy Viola Winn Aldridge,54,0f Nahunta passed away Thursday (Dec. 31, 2015) after a sudden illness.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida she was the daughter of the late Joseph Robert Winn, Sr. and Nancy Marie Batten Winn, of White Oak, GA.

A member of The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church, Kathy was a Registered Nurse and had employed at The Satilla Regional Hospital in Waycross, now The Mayo Clinic Health Systems. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them as much as she could, enjoyed reading, the beach and working in her garden.

Survived by her husband Bobby Aldridge, of Nahunta, her mother, Nancy Marie Batten Winn, of White Oak, GA., 3-Children and their spouse, Terrie Aldridge Redmond (James), of Marietta, GA., Brandie Aldridge Altman (Chase), of Baxley, GA., and Stephen Chad Aldridge, of Nahunta, 3-grandchildren, Colton and Hartley Altman and Kira Aldridge, her brother and sister-in-law, J.R. Winn, Jr. (Dawn), of Nahunta, 2-sisters and brothers-In-law, Betty Jo Lyons (Tony), Karen Winn Jackson (Rickey), all of Nahunta, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Monday evening (Jan. 4, 2016)starting at 6 P.M. from The Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Viola Winn Aldridge will be held Tuesday morning (Jan. 5, 2016) at 11 A.M. from The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.

Burial will follow in The McClellan Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Jackson, Garrick Jackson, Terry Lee, Jackson Lee, Jeremy DePratter and Joseph Winn, III.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
