Keith Graham Harrell

Hortense- Mr. Keith Graham Harrell, 83 of Hortense, passed away Tuesday (February 11, 2020) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Burnt Fort, his parents were Paul Graham Harrell and Eunice Odessa Lanier. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Laverne Thornton Harrell; his daughter, Dawn Nail; son, Stuart Hancock; brother, Samuel Harrell; and his great granddaughter, Addison.

Mr. Keith was a member of Philadelphia Wesleyan Church and loved doing work for the church and the camp. He worked over 38 years as Forest Manager for Rayonier. He enjoyed spending time with his family and church family, fishing, camping, and woodworking when he was able. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to everybody.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny Harrell (Trecia), of Mustang, OK, Mike Hancock (Marna), of La Vergne, TN, Paul Harrell (Raye), of Hortense; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Shirlene Harrell, of Kingfisher, OK., Kandy Cochran, also of Kingfisher, OK., Pat Norman (Marvin), of Hoboken, GA., and Michelle Leary (Jim), of Hortense, GA.; 28 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Harrell, of Hortense; and sister, Carolyn Strickland, of Hortense; Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday (February 15, 2020) at 3PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Lamos and Rev. Sheldon Rowell, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Hortense Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be LaWayne Harrell, Gus Tate, Tristan Davis, Wesley Deverger, Jimmy Leary, and Heath Harrell.
