Hoboken – Kimberly Jean Crews Thrift, 53, of Hoboken passed away Saturday afternoon (August 3, 2019) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after a brief illness.
Born in Greenwood, SC her parents were Clyde Crews and Mabel “Earlene” Cothran Crews.
Kim was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Thrift of Hoboken; a son, Aaron Blackstock of Waynesville; a daughter, Kristi Crews of Hoboken; several grandchildren; 3 brothers & sisters-in-law, Joey & Michelle Crews of Hoboken, Stephen & Sherry Franklin of Ninety Six, SC, and Toby & Pam Crews of Blackshear; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Monday afternoon (August 5, 2019) at 4PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Ion Johns officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service starting at 3:30PM.
Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Tiahrt, Greg Thrift, Ronald Thrift, Teddy Thrift, and Dan Blackstock.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
