Mrs. L. Jeanette Spaulding Miller, 77, of Waynesville died Tuesday night (November 3, 2009) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Glynn Co. her parents were Joe and Dollie Brown Spaulding. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Steve D. Miller and a brother, Jackie Spaulding. She was a bus driver for Glynn Co. and was a member of Atkinson Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Miller & Walter Oldham of Hortense, Karen Miller & Bill Mathis of Atkinson and Stephanie Miller-Lassiter of Nahunta; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne Miller of Brunswick and Leslie C. & Tina Miller of Waynesville; 4 grandchildren, Steven James, Sarah Assad, Gregory Miller and Amanda Mathis; 2 step grandchildren, Leslie and Seleta Miller; 6 great grandchildren, Christina and Dustin Holzman, Abby and Katie Miller, and Colby and Daisy Lassiter;double great great grandson, Zachery Cook; a brother, Joseph Spaulding of Brunswick; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (November 5, 2009) from 6pm to 8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon (November 6, 2009) at 2pm at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Holzman, Terrell Spaulding, Terrell Spaulding, Jr., Andrew Downey, Don Wheeler and Bill Warrell. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
