Latrelle Moody Boatwright

Hortense-Mrs. Latrelle Moody Boatwright, 64, of Hortense, died Monday afternoon (February 13, 2012) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA., after an extended illness. Born in Blackshear, GA., her parents are the late Lester Edwin Moody and Nola Mae Moody, of Nahunta. She is preceded in death also by her brother J. E. Moody; and a sister-in-law, Betty Moody. Latrelle was a Life time member of the Satilla Missionary Baptist Church. She loved going to yard sales, fish, and loved & enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a mama to many. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Harry Boatwright of Hortense; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry Allen & Wendy Boatwright of Hortense; her daughter and son-in-law, Dana Latrelle & Wadus Williams of K-Ville; 4 grandchildren, Kelly and Kimberly Boatwright, and Wade and Rayleigh Williams; her mother, Nola Mae Moody of Nahunta; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Glynell Moody of Hortense, and Jerry & Wanda Moody of Hoboken; her sister and brother-in-law, Annette & Mark Rowell of Hortense; also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday evening (February 16, 2012) starting @ 6 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (February 17, 2012) at 2 PM at the Satilla Missionary Baptist Church in Hortense with Rev. R. C. Mathis, Rev. Tim Rowell, and Rev. Daniel Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Satilla Cemetery, Hortense. Pallbearers will be Kelly Boatwright, Dean Boatwright, Josh Anderson, Keith Moody, Kevin Moody, and Tracie Moody.
