Hortense-Leann Renee Little Jackson, 20, of Hortense died suddenly Wednesday afternoon (October 19, 2011) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are Larry Lee Little of Brunswick and Lisa Renee Dixon Shropshire of Nahunta. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Eric Andrew Jackson, an infant daughter, Madeilynn "Maddie" Renee Jackson; and her paternal grandmother, Joann Harrell. Leann was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Bayview Nursing Home and a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church. Also she was a member of HOSA and loved meeting people and laughing and just enjoying life.. Survivors include her mother and step father, Lisa R. & Don Shropshire of Nahunta, father and step mother, Larry L. & Leslie Little of Brunswick; ; 1-brother, Levi Little of Nahunta, a half-brother, Landen Lee Little of Brunswick, 2-step-brothers, William Smith of Brunswick and Matthew & Cristie Shropshire of Athens; a Sister, Lindsey Little of Nahunta; 5-step-sisters,Chelsea Smith, Haylie Smith and Jaimey Smith all of Brunswick, Amanda & Chad Grover and Megan Shropshire all of Savannah; Maternal grandparents, Richard & Debra Crosby of Waynesville; maternal grandfather, Billy Dixon of Blackshear; paternal grandfather, Bill Harrell of Hortense; paternal grandmother, Barbra Smith of Brunswick; 2 nephews, Trent Anderson and Hayden Grover; and also several other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (October 21, 2011) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (October 22, 2011) at 11AM at Hickox Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Brown and Rev. Spencer Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zac Anderson, Benji Crosby, Ricky Crosby, Jimmy Quigley, Ritchie Self, Joe Thomas and Chad Grover. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Bayview Nursing Home and the Brantley County High School class of 2010. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
