Leisa Moore Douberly

Nahunta – Leisa Moore Douberly, 52, of Nahunta passed away Thursday morning (April 21, 2016) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Nahunta, GA her parents were LeRoy and Mary “Peggy” Louise Douberly Moore. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Benny Moore and George Moore.

Leisa was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her family, having cookouts, going on boat rides and fishing.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Robert Edward Douberly, Jr. of Nahunta; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Emory Moore of Nahunta and Kevin & Mary Douberly of Macon; 2 daughters, Lynette Moore of Nahunta and Michelle Douberly of Patterson; 5 grandchildren, Bailey Parkinson, Cameron Douberly, Faith Douberly, Kyler Douberly, and Valissa Moore; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Lynette Moore and Stanley & Roxanne Moore all of Nahunta; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen & Daniel Highsmith of Yulee, FL; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Sunday afternoon (April 24, 2016) starting at 2 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (April 24, 2016) at 3PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Allen officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
