Leonard Crews

Leonard Crews, 64,of Nahunta, GA. died Friday evening (Dec. 5, 2008) at Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross, GA. following a lengthy illness. Born in Brantley County his parents were Ramon and Estella Howell Crews. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Rosa Mae Dubose, and a brother, James Crews. He was a logger for Cason Logging and loved his friends and family and spending time with them. An avid fisherman he loved the outdoors. He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Sue Story of Douglas; a granddaughter Jennifer Leigh Story, a grandson, Ryan Austin Story; a sister, Macie Johns of Nahunta; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Susie Crews ,of Nahunta; Framen and Linda Crews, of Hoboken and Horace and Diane Crews ,of Alma. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (Dec. 6, 2008) starting at 6 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home (formerly, Chambless-Frye Funeral Home), of Nahunta.
