Waynesville- Leslie Clyde "Les" Miller, 47, of Hortense died Monday afternoon (August 15, 2011) at his residence after an extended illness. Born in Brunswick, GA his parents were Steve D. and Leslie Jeanette Spaulding Miller. He is also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Peyton Carter. Les worked for International Auto Processing in the maintenance department. He also was a great handy man and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Survivors include his wife, Tina Edgy Miller of Hortense; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Leslie & Luke Batten and Seleta Miller all of Hortense; 2 grandchildren, Zachary Carter and Layden Batten both of Hortense; a brother, Wayne Miller of Brunswick; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia & Walter Oldham and Karen & Bill Mathis of Atkinson and Stephanie Lassiter of Nahunta;Mother-in-law, Frances Edgy of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (August 17, 2011) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A graveside service will be held Thursday morning (August 18, 2011) at 11AM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Waynesville with Rev. Clayton Edgy officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Wheeler, Bill Warrell, Ronnie Thompson, Terry Thompson, Buddy Coleman and Dustin Holzman.
