Leslie 'Lynn' Drury

White Oak- Leslie "Lynn" Drury, 60 of White Oak, GA., passed away early Monday (April 25, 2016) at his residence following a brief illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parents are the late Fred Fulton Drury, Jr. and Betty Chapman Drury, of White Oak, GA. Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Lamar Drury; and his paternal grandparents, Fred Drury, Sr. and Elizabeth Drury; and his maternal grandparents, Hubert Chapman and Angie Chapman.

Lynn enjoyed building things, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was a member of Horse Stamp United Methodist Church of Waverly.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Herrin Drury, of White Oak; his son, Bryan Dowling, of White Oak; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brandi Lynn Drury, of White Oak, Stacey and Dwayne Dixon, of St. Mary's; seven grandchildren, Chandler Cox, Austin Dowling, Morgan Dowling, Jackson Dowling, Colton Dowling, Hunter Higginbotham, and Deacon Dixon; his mother, Betty Chapman Drury, of White Oak; his brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Joy Drury, of White Oak; his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vonda Kaye and Greg Strickland, and Melodie and Rick Goble, all of White Oak; aunts and uncles, Russell and Vera Drury, of Jacksonville, Roy and Darlene Drury, of Waynesville, Beverly Drury, of White Oak, and Minnie Ratliff, of Elmore, AL. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (April 27, 2016) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday (April 28, 2016) at 11AM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Elliott Foss and Rev. John David Strickland officiating.

Burial will follow in Homeward Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Goble, Jr., Austin Dowling, Chandler Cox, Adam Goble, Colte Shaske, and Shawn Clark.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Horse Stamp United Methodist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Betty Drury; 725 Providence Church Rd. White Oak, GA. 31568
