Lewis 'Wayne' Truett,Sr.

Mr. Lewis “Wayne” Truett, Sr., 81, of Mableton, Georgia passed away early Saturday morning (Feb. 8, 2020) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Baxley, Georgia he was the son of Hank Theo Truett, Sr. and Irene Mobley Truett. Mr. Wayne was self-employed Store Fixture Liquidator and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved cooking, hunting and enjoyed his T.V.

Mr. Wayne was also preceded by his wife, Arla Ellefaye Morgan Truett, a son, David Truett, great- grandson, Leo Duncan, 1 brother and 1-sister.

Survived by his 4 children and their spouses, Teresa Luck (Dean), of Waynesville, GA., Dennis Truett (Cindy), of Mableton, GA., Zada Thomas (Keith), of Hickox, GA. and Lewis Wayne Truett, Jr. (Sam), of Woodstock, Ga., 9-Grandchildren, 20-Great-Grandchildren, 15-Great-Great-Grandchildren also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Memorial service for Mr. Wayne Truett will be held Tuesday afternoon Feb. 11, 2020 at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Rev. Frank Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends and family 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
