Lillian Pellicer Tyre

Mrs. Lillian Pellicer Tyre,65, of Brunswick died late Sunday evening (June 27, 2010)at The Sears Manor in Brunswick after a long illness. Born in Waycross, Georgia her parents were William Jackson Pellicer and Mattie Viola Griffis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed the outdoors. An avid fisher she also enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death along with her parents , her husband, Ralph B. "RB"Tyre, her mother who raised her, Cricket Hutto. Survived by 7-children and their spouses, Betty Jean Tyre and her fiancée Eric Henderson, of Waynesville, Tina Marie and Tommy Maxim, of Stamford, N.Y., Mary Ann and James Williamson,of Brunswick, Jennifer and Jeremy Brown, of Middleburgh, N.Y., Pamela Jean Shaw, of Jacksonville, FL., Ralph Shaw, Jr. and Jennifer, of Jesup, GA. and Diane Shaw, of Brunswick, GA., 6-Grandchildren, Brandon Jackson Strickland, Brittany Lillian Nicole Strickland, Christina Maxim, James Williamson IV, Blakley Brown and Hannah Mae Brown, also several other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening starting at 6 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Tyre will be held Friday morning (July 2, 2010) at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Dr. Larry Boyett officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. Pallbearers will be Eric Henderson, James Williamson, ,Brandon Strickland, Richy Strickland, Perry Henderson and Tommy Maxim.
