Lillie "Aunt Na" Nadean Taylor

Hickox – Lillie Nadean ”Aunt Na” Blount Taylor, 79, of Hickox passed away Thursday morning (September 7, 2023) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Born in Hickox, GA her parents were Samuel Blount, Jr. and Lillie Strickland Blount. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor; and 2 sisters, Annie Lou Williams and Wanette Johnson.

Aunt Na was a homemaker and a member of Winokur Baptist Church. She loved going to church, listening and singing gospel music, spending time with her great nieces and nephews, doing yard work and tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelly Taylor of Nahunta; stepdaughter, Patricia Nottingham (Barry) Senoia; 2 grandchildren, Tommy Marshall (Brenda) of Nahunta and David Marshall (Kelly) of FL; a special uncle, Jackie Blount of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening (September 10, 2023) from 6pm to 8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Monday morning (September 11, 2023) at 11am at Winokur Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Foster, Rev. Eric Dixon, Rev. Ronnie Sharpe and Rev. Randall McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Kuechmann, Mason Collins, Ryan McCarty, Randall McCarty, David Marshall and Tommy Marshall. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawn, Katie, Breanna, Daisy and the rest of the Staff from Bayview Nursing Home.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
