Linda Beth Brown

Nahunta – Linda Beth Manor Brown, 80, of Nahunta passed away Wednesday afternoon (November 15, 2023) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

Born in Charles, Maryland her parents were Mulford M. Manor and Edna Herrin Manor.

Linda was a RN for over 40 years working at the Waycross Hospital and the Brunswick Hospital. She loved nursing and being able to take care of her family and friends. Linda enjoyed shopping and spending time at home.

Survivors include her 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Cook of Michigan, Brian Brown (Cindy Nguyen) of Warner Robins, GA and Philip Brown (Jerris) of Alabama; 3 daughters, Linda Arlette Socha and Chimene Miller both of Tennessee and Tara Green of Nahunta, GA; 17 grandchildren, Stefanie, Jonathan, Michael, Jeremy, Chantell, Ryan, Daniel, Christopher, Ashanti, Cassandra Derek, Justin, Cody, Weston, Piper, Presly, and Phoenix; 18 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bicknell Manor (Kate) of Nahunta, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Wylene Prescott (Jim Cogan) of St. Augustine, FL; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday evening (November 27, 2023) starting at 4pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.

A memorial service will be held Monday evening (November 27, 2023) at 5pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bro. Bicknell Manor officiating.
