Linda Gail Strickland O'Neal

Jesup – Linda Gail Strickland O’Neal, 57, of Jesup passed away Tuesday evening (April 12, 2016) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents were Russell and Joyce O’Neal Strickland. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew R. O’Neal; and a grandson, Eric L. Kirkland.

Linda was a homemaker and a member of Westside Church of God in Jesup but also attended Carter’s Chapel Church of God. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, animals, and cooking for others.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Leslie O’Neal and Amy Kirkland both of Jesup; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Kirkland and Andrew Kirkland both of Jesup; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicky McQueen, Sherry and Ray Ellis, Sr., and Tina and Delmas Manning all of Jesup; a brother, Russell L. Strickland of Jesup; a special nephew, John R. Cunningham of Jesup; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
