Linda Lou Simon

Nahunta- Mrs. Linda Lou Fankhauser Simon,78, of Nahunta passed away Friday (Apr. 3, 2020) at The Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after a brief illness.

Born in Columbus, Ohio she was the daughter of Wilbur Jacob Fankhauser and Bernice Hayhurst Fankhauser. She was also preceded by her husband Mike Simon, and several sisters.

Mrs. Simon loved spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed her grandchildren, her dogs, doing word puzzles and enjoyed traveling when she could.

She is survived by her son, Roy Nelson Garner, of Nahunta, 2-daughter’s and sons-in-law, Veronica and Johnny Bradshaw, of Tampa, FL., Karen and Mack Whetsell, of Nahunta, 7-grandchildren, Jamie Saunders (Mike), Patricia Morical, Tanya Pullis, Jason Bradshaw, Timothy Garner (Amanda), Christopher Garner and Greg Whetsell, 16-Great Grandchildren, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.

Private Memorial Services will be held by the family.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
