Lonnie Ward Johns

Nahunta – Lonnie Ward Johns, 61, of Nahunta passed away Thursday evening (October 7, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness.
Born in Blackshear, GA his parents were Roscoe Johns and Macie Crews Johns. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Randy Johns and Robert Johns.
Lonnie was a logger before becoming disabled. He enjoyed hunting and fixing things before his health declined and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Misty Piper (H.L.) of Mobile, AL; 2 son and a daughter-in-law, Luke Johns (Marla) of Nahunta and Rodney Johns of Hortense; 9 grandchildren, Johnathan Hulme, Gracelynn Johns, Cage Piper, Summer Piper, Dixie Johns, Gloria Johns, Evan Adams, Dalton Sauders, and Kadynce Hutchins; a great grandchild, Jackson Piper; a brother, Andy Roscoe Johns (Camille) of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
There are no services at this time.
