Louise Daniels Keene

Dorothy Louise Daniels Keene, 86, of Waynesville died Saturday afternoon (April 24, 2010) at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta after an extended illness. Born in Waynesville, GA her parents were James Charles and Julia Rozier Daniels, Jr. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Keene; a sister, Loree Kelly and 2 brothers, Colton Daniels and Eulis Daniels. Louise was employed with the state in the training facility center and was a member of Sterling Church of God. She loved to sew and fish. She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Lou Ann & Kenneth Grooms of Waynesville, Richard & Elaine Keene of Douglas, Charles Michael & Susan E. Keene of Waynesville and Bob & Angie Keene of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Faye Head of Waverly and Mae & Bill Cantrell of Nahunta, GA.; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Archie Daniels and Dennis & Mildred Daniels both of Waynesville; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening (April 26, 2010) starting at 6 P.M. at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (April 27, 2010) at 11 A.M. at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Clark and Rev. Ion Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Homeward Cemetery in Camden County. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Grooms, Wetzel Head, Nick Daniels, Spencer Kelly, Greg Vinson and Bernice Aspinwall.
