Lucille Drury Schafer

Mrs. Lucille Drury Leggett Schafer,78,of Hortense died Saturday (May 15,2010) at her residence after a sudden illness. Born in Brunswick, Georgia she was the daughter of Oscar Elbert and Ellen Brancher Jordon. She retired from Wal-Mart in Brunswick, where she had worked as a Cashier. She loved to fish and enjoyed working in her garden and flower beds, Lucille also loved to check out yard sales. Preceded in death by her Parents , her husband James Drury, 3-Children, Jerry Don Leggett, Eddie Leggett, and Betty Lou Morris. She is survived by 5-sons and daughters-in-law, Elbert and Diane Leggett, of Jesup, Gary and Carline Leggett, of Seattle, Washington, Timmy and Sharon Leggett, of Waycross, Chris and Carline Leggett, of Alma, and Tony and Kathy Leggett, of Hortense. Many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday morning (May 18,2010) at 11:00 A.M. in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bacon County with Rev. Jerry officiating.
