Lyle E. Osborne

Lyle Erb Osborne, 86, of Atkinson, GA died Monday morning at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Sturgis, MI, his parents were Marion Lyle Osborne and Wilma Verne Yoder Osborne. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Osborne. Lyle was a World War II veteran and he retired as a Service Manager with Fleetwood Mobile Homes. He loved golfing and cooking and was of the Episcopal faith. Lyle is survived by his wife of 26 years, Eva R. Osborne; 4 Children and spouses, Cary Osborne (Lisa); David Osborne (Pam) and Douglas Osborne (Patti) all of Elkhart, IN and Nancy Warrick (Jay) Knoxville, TN; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; 1 step-son and spouse, David and Debbie Sirmans of Hortense; and 3 Step grandchildren, Christopher, Satilla and Kaylee Sirmans; and other relatives. Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at 12:30 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL. With David Sirmans officiating. Military rites will be given.
