Macie B. Bamford Hassler

Nahunta- Mrs. Macie B. Bamford Hassler, 96, of Nahunta died early Saturday morning (Decmeber 18, 2010) at Bayview Nursing home after an extended illness. Born in Brantley Co. her parents were James "Jim" R. & Nancy S. Strickland Batten. She is also preceded in death by two husbands, Auther A. Bamford and James "Jim" E. Hassler; a son, Rodney Anton Bamford; and several brothers and sisters. Macie was a homemaker and a member of Winokur Baptist Church. Survivors include a special nephew, Carroll Batten of Nahunta; and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Monday morning (December 20, 2010) at 11AM at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Vance Colley. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
