Marcia Dawn Clark

Waynesville – Marcia Dawn Clark, 59, of Waynesville passed away Thursday evening (August 18, 2016) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Portland, MA her mother was the late Margaret Horton Ryan. She is also preceded in death by her son, Bubba Clark; and a brother, Larry Brooks.

Marcia was a supervisor for Jekyll Island Convention Center and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing carding and bird watching.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Clark of Waynesville; 2 sons, Matthew Clark of Waynesville and Aaron Pierce of Hoboken; 6 daughters and sons-in-law, Vikki & Chuck Stokes of Waynesville, Kristy Clark of Waynesville, Donna & Billy Worthington of Glynn St. Marys, FL, Terri & Craig Singletary of Brunswick, Patricia & Michael Nissen of Waynesville, and Jeannie Marie & Rod Mims of CA; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Matt & Rhonda Brooks of MA, Greg & Cathy Brooks of MA, and Norman & Tina Laskey of Brunswick; 4 sisters, Cindy Hart of Brunswick, Gina Brooks of Brunswick, Debbie Rongholt of WI, and Kathy Davis of IA; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening (August 21, 2016) from 6PM- 8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Monday morning (August 22, 2016) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Stokes, Travis Nissen, Daryl Nissen, Dakota Owens, Buddy Williams, and Lewis Williams.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
