Margaret Jacobs

Mrs. Margaret Moody Jacobs,86,of Nahunta died late Saturday evening (Jan. 9,2010) in The Pierce County Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Nahunta she was the daughter of David Barney Moody and Laura Victoria Wright Moody. She was of the Church of God Faith and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jacobs enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible and taking care of her family. Preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Eddie Jacobs, a son Cecil Jacobs and numerous Brothers and Sisters. Survived by her 3- Children and their spouses, Linda Gail Rowell, of Sardis, GA., Samuel David and Arlene Jacobs, of Nahunta, and Betty Sue and Wayne O'berry, of Wray, GA., 2-Grandchildren, Natalie Jacobs, of Nahunta and Dewayne Jacobs and his wife Kathy, of Statesboro, GA., 2-Great-Grandchildren, a Sister, Jane Ramsey, of Albany, GA., her Brother, John Moody, of North Carolina, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday evening starting at 6:00 P.M. from the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning (Jan. 12, 2010) at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Rev.Randy Wainright and Rev. Ray McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Rob Lewis Cemetery in Raybon. Pallbearers will be Duane Lee, Dwayne Thomas, H.C. Morgan, Mike Carver, Charles Highsmith and Barry "Bo" Chesser. Honorary will be the Staff at Pierce County Nursing Home and are ask to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 A.M. Tuesday. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pierce County Nursing Home Patient Fund.
