Nahunta – Margaret Rozier Yawn-Kilgore, 67, of Nahunta passed away early Wednesday morning (August 11, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness.
Born in Tampa, FL her parents were Franklin Daniel Rozier and Patricia Sikes Rozier.
Margaret was a data collector for A.C. Nielson and loved cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Kilgore of Nahunta; 2 sons, James Edward Summers and David T. Yawn of Valdosta; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Summers Carter (James) of Nahunta; 9 grandchildren, Susan Hand, David Matthew Hand, Jr., Ashli Holton, April Holton, Darrin Lee Mari, Raegan Yawn, Sophia Faith Hand, Henry Eugene Hand, and Zachary Yawn; a great grandchild, Bella Ray Ramos; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening (August 12, 2021) from 5pm -7pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
