Margaret Vera Wiles

Margaret Vera Leggett Wiles, 74, of Nahunta, GA died early Sunday morning (Jan. 25, 2009) at BayView Nursing Home, Nahunta following a lengthy illness. Born in Waycross, GA, she was the daughter of Robert Christopher and Thelma Vera Sapp Leggett. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Adam Wiles, 2 sons, Ronnie and Terry Mixon and 2 brothers, Jimmy and Charles Leggett. She worked in assembly with Revlon and was a member of United Auto Workers. She loved fishing and gardening and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diann and Terry Goss of Nahunta, GA; a son, Mike Mixon of FL; 5 Grandchildren, Scooter Morgan (Matt), Jamie Goss of Waycross, Cindy, Lynn and Marlene Mixon all of FL; 2 Great grandchildren, Taylor and Brooke Morgan of Nahunta; a Sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jerry Courson of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday evening 6 until 9 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home (formerly Chambless-Frye), Nahunta. Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
