Brunswick- Margie Lorine Mobley Smith, 73, of Brunswick died Thursday morning (August 25, 2011) at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness. Born in Hinesville, GA her parents were James Henrey and Minnie Loney Groover Mobley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Smith; a son, Timmy Allen Kluge; 3 brothers, Eugene, Leroy and R.L. Mobley; 2 half-brothers, Jim and Willie Mobley; and a half-sister, Lala Woods. Margie was a waitress and a member of North Wesleyan Church in Brunswick. Also she loved singing at the nursing home, bluegrass and care net. Survivors include 5 children, Ronald Kluge, Timothy Kluge, Debrah Kluge Roach, Glenn Kluge and Chris Lord; 5 step-children, Penny Smith Steedley, Bruce Smith, William Smith, Wanda Smith King and Alvin Smith; 10 Grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 1 great step-grandchild; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Jesse W. & Lovie Mobley and John H. Mobley of Brunswick; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Allen Spell of Jesup; 4 sisters-in-law, Helen Purdom, Mary Jane Branch, Betty King, and Nell Mobley; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (August 27, 2011) from 1-2PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon (August 27, 2011) at 2PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. R.C. Mathis and Rev. Ion Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Raulerson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Mobley, Rudolph Mobley, David Spell, Kurt Spell, Allen Spell and Jesse Mobley. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
