Margie Rumsey

Hoboken – Margie June Phillips Rumsey, 88, of Hoboken passed away Tuesday evening (October 30, 2018) at Southeast Georgia Health System Camden campus after an extended illness.

Born in Alma, NY her parents were Earl Phillips and Elva Kingsley Phillips. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Seth E. Rumsey, Jr.; 2 sons, William Allen Rumsey and Thomas Jeffery Rumsey; 4 brothers, Gyle Bliss, Bernard Bliss, Howard Bliss, and Jack Kingsley; and a sister, Bonnie Lee Hoffman.

Margie was a CNA for Ware Manor for 20 plus years and loved sewing, doing crafts and woodworking.

Survivors include her 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Seth Earl Rumsey (Sherry) of Barton, NY and Arnold E. Rumsey of Sayre, PA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Squires(Mark) of Covington, LA and Margie Julene McMertrye (Kevin) of Bradford, PA; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The will be no services at this time.
