Marsha Jane Guy

Nahunta – Marsha Jane Guy, 67, of Nahunta passed away Saturday evening (August 4, 2018) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents were Paul Thornton and Doris Rozier Thornton. She is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Paula Poccio and Zelda DeLoach; and a brother, Paul Thornton.

Marsha was a retired bookkeeper for B & D Tire and a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Guy of Nahunta; a stepson, Eric Ganey of Folkston; 2 grandchildren, Ethan Ganey (Lexi Williams) and Lex Ganey all of Folkston; 2 great grandchildren, Bella Williams and Corey Ganey; 3 uncles, Jody Cribb and Gomer Cribb of Glennville and Jerry Walker of Atlanta; an Aunt, Janet of Oklahoma; special friends, Lillie & Wain Crews; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday morning (August 7, 2018) from 10am -11am at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning (August 7, 2018) at 11am at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Johnson, Gary Johnson, Robert Guy, Jerry Guy, Cordell Wainright, and Jamie Nazworthy.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
