Martha Herrin Williams, 56, of Nahunta, GA died Thursday night (March 5, 2009) at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick following a brief illness. Born in Brantley Co, her parents were Weita Leo and Juanita Hickox Herrin. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Lovell. She worked with different school systems as a Speech Pathologist. She loved her kids, her family and sewing. She attended Hickox Praise and Worship Church. She is survived by her husband, Willoughby Williams of Nahunta, GA; Kevin E. Williams of Nahunta, GA; Kimberly and Andy Lawrence of Moyock, NC; and Dustin Eric Williams (Julie Winn) of Nahunta, GA; 5 Grandchildren, Joey Lake, Andrea Lawrence, Tristen Cole Williams, Tristen Winn and Jasmine Williams; 7 Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Geneva and Leon Wilson, Mary and Bo Hendricks, Christine Proctor, Delores and Ray Kennedy all of Nahunta, Cathy and Lynn Drury of White Oak, GA, Shirley Lentz of Waycross and Linda Howard of Nahunta, 2 Brothers and a sister-in-law, James Cross, and Calvin and Janet Herrin all of Nahunta; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Saturday evening starting at 6 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, (formerly Chambless-Frye) Nahunta. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Wilson and David Herrin officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Hickox. Pallbearers will be Bryan Dowling, Wayne Lovell, Joe Wainright, Jody Crews, Solomon Crews, Bradley Herrin, Joe Parse and Wendell Lovell.
