Mary Crews Crosby

Mary Crews Crosby, 80 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (January 26, 2020) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA.

Born in Nahunta, GA., her parents were Charlie and Laura Willis Crews. She was also preceded in death by her husband Pete Crosby, her son Charles Crosby, and 3 brothers: Valine Crews, Marvin Crews and Clyde Crews, and 1 sister Alene Hickox Griner.

Mrs. Mary attended the Nahunta Church of God, she retired from the Spatola Shoe Factory. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Crosby of Nahunta; 3 grandsons, Pete Crosby (Lulu) of Nahunta, Devin Crosby of Waynesville, and Dalton Ammons of Nahunta; 1 granddaughter, Marikay Clark of Nahunta; 7 great grandchildren, Kinslee, Leland, Kayln, Lydia, Malory, and Kamree Crosby, and Alana Clark; 2 brothers, James Crews (Reba) of Nahunta, and Burnice Crews (Joan) of Hoboken; and a special nephew and his wife, Bobby Crews (Debra) of Hoboken. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon (January 28, 2020) at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Waycross.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday afternoon (January 28, 2020) at 2 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Waycross with Rev. Charles Florey officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Crews, Kyle Crews, Randall Cribbs, Jamie Crews, Harry Crews, Joey Crews, and Toby Crews.

Family will meet at Bobby & Debra Crews’ home at 4043 Petty Crossing Rd, Nahunta, GA 31553.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
