Mary Ann Clemmons Douglas

February 24, 1957 — January 30, 2025

Waynesville- Mary Ann Clemmons Douglas, 67 of Waynesville, passed away Thursday (January 30, 2025) at her residence.

Born in Lyons, GA., her parents were Hubert Clemmons and Arizona Rooks Clemmons. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jamie Douglas; and her sister, Mary Grace Westberry.

Mary was a homemaker and a former member of Waynesville Church of God. She was currently a member of Heaven’s Way Church of God. She enjoyed taking care of kids, loved her flowers and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Billy Douglas, of Waynesville; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason Douglas (Ayano), of Abilene, TX., Victor Westberry and Caden Holt, both of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Noah Douglas and Saya Grace Douglas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest Clemmons (Susan), of Waynesville and Eli Clemmons (Arline), of Hortense. Also several nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday (February 8, 2025) at 11AM at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Justin Thornton officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service, beginning at 10:30AM.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
