Jesup-Mary Jane Williams, 65 of Jesup passed away late Friday night (September 23, 2016) at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Born in Lulaton, Ga. Her parents were Burney and Ruby Williams. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Thomas Williams and 1 sister, Mildred O’Neal.

Mary was a member of The Lulaton Baptist Church. She had retired as a Caseworker for The Department of Family and Children Services in Nahunta, Mary also served as a Volunteer Firefighter and she loved her cats and dogs.

Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kammay Strickland, of Key Stone Heights, Fl. Her daughter and son-in-law, Aimee and Jason Groll of Brunswick, Ga. 2 grandchildren, Mason Strickland and Samuel Strickland. 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Donnie Williams of Fernandina Beach, Fl., Donahue and Linda Williams of Rochester, NY, Ernest and Shirley Williams of Pueblo, Co. 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Walter Clark of Yulee, Fl., Gail and Terry Cleland of Nahunta, Ga. Also several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday evening (September 26, 2016) at 6PM-Until at Frye Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon (September 27, 2016) at 2 P.M. from The Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Knox officiating.

Pallbearers are Buddy Smith, Brian Clark, Walter Clark, James Harrison, Donald Knox, and Joe Knox.

Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, Ga. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
