Mary Joan Morgan

Hortense- Mary Joan White Morgan , 75, of Hortense passed away early Thursday morning (July 11, 2013) at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Woodbine, IL her parents were Walter and Gladys Hoppe White. Mary has been an office manager for Morgan Automotive, Inc . since 1996.Also she enjoyed the outdoors, cutting grass and learning computers. Survivors include her husband, Lannis Morgan of Hortense; 2 Sons & a daughter-in-law, Jeff & Lorraine Morgan of Nahunta and Jesse Morgan of Hortense; 2 grandchildren, Jeffery and Chris Morgan; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley & Bernie Moen of Lanark, IL; and also several other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday evening (July 13, 2013) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (July 14, 2013) at 2PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bishop Raymond Willis and Rev. Hilton Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Morgan, Chris Morgan, Jason Rooks, Jason Ogden, Derek Lewis and Lanis Lewis. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
