Though selfish for our loved ones to remain with us we know and understand that this is but our temporary home. Our faith lies in the truth that one day we will walk through eternity With our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. So it is with joy yet a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Cosat McGlothlen, 76.
Mary Louise went home to be with the Lord, June 06, 2018 after battling for 12 days in a coma from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on May 25th 2018 which claimed the life of her eldest daughter Leah Marie Cosat, 55 in Brantley County Georgia. She was a resident of Waynesville Georgia since April 16th 2017. Mary Louise was born in Yelm, Washington on December 5th 1941 to the late Oscar Lorenzo and Minnie May Jernigan McGlothlen.
She married Fred Eugene Cosat Jr.in 1954 and in 1967 move to Sanford Florida with their 1st and 2nd children, Leah Marie and Lynette. She had two more children, Jason Todd and Christina Lynn in 1975 and 1983 respectively.
Mary Louise is preceded in death by her 3 brothers Huey, 34 Gordon, 80 and Alan, 82. She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Becker; as well as her 3 children, Lynnette married Robert Figorito in 2014; Jason married Eydie Runions in 2001 and have 2 children Kirah Lynn and Alysa Jac; and Christina married Tony Bailey in 2002 and have 7 children Shayla, Isaiah, Jacob-Marcus, LilliAnn, Chloe and Hannah. Leah, Mary Louise's eldest child, is survived by her children Nicholas Troy and Tabitha Ann. Mary Louise was a very strong and determined spirit who loved her family and who would give anything she could to anyone who was in need. She loved nature and all that God's creation could offer her the free expression of His love. We love you mom you will be greatly missed.
