Maxine Helen Peacock Moore, 65, of Hoboken died early Sunday morning (Dec. 26, 2010) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Hickox, GA her parents were Matthew and Florence I. Blount Peacock. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Moore and a brother, Clyde Farmer. Maxine was a X-Ray Technician for the Hospital in Statesboro for many years and enjoyed sewing. Survivors include 5 children and their spouses, Beth & Scott Holland, Tina & Jimmy Dowling, Danny Boy & Tammy Moore, Pam & Cotton Johns and Rene & Jody Dreggors all of Hoboken; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann & Roy King of Blackshear; a special uncle, Jackie Blount of Nahunta; a great aunt, Lucille Johns of Nahunta; special friends, Cece & Jack Warner of Ft. Pierce, FL; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening (Dec. 27, 2010) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (Dec. 28, 2010) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Mrs. Beth Holland officiating.Mrs. Moore will lay in state one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow in Hoboken Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Harris, Jody Harris, Jeffery Dreggors, Chase Moore, Hawk Moore and Daniel Holland. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
