Waynesville – Micah Clay Parrott, 43, of Waynesville passed away Tuesday (August 17, 2021) in Topeka, KS.
Born in Asheville, NC on November 18, 1977, his parents are Cathy Gault of The Villages, FL and Marvin Parrott of Waynesville. He attended schools in both North Carolina and Georgia and graduated from Tallulah Falls School in North Georgia.
Early in his career, Micah was a skilled craftsman and worked in the construction and remodeling business in Gastonia, NC and Charlotte, NC. He was meticulous, detailed-oriented and loved pleasing his clients. For the last 10 years, he had worked with Dematic, and then Honeywell as a millwright, lead man and foreman installing conveyor systems for large distribution centers such as Walmart and Amazon all over the county. He was an avid tennis player, golfer, and loved fishing, hunting, and all things in nature as well.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Mallory Parrott of Mt. Holly, NC; his parents and step parents, Cathy Gault (Anthony Caruso) of The Villages, FL and Marvin Parrott (Mary) of Waynesville; 2 sisters, Tonya Arthur of Melbourne, FL and Alecia Williams of Folkston, GA; 2 step siblings, Anna Drury and Elliott Ippolito both of Waynesville; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday afternoon (September 18, 2021) at 3PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give a memorial contribution to your charity or church of choice.
